תאור כללי של הקורס:
The course will explore current and future avenues of cooperation in security related matters between Germany and Israel. The methodology consists of online-preparation and a table-top exercise which puts students into the roles of top German and Israeli security professionals who coordinate security cooperation in the framework of German/Israeli government consultations.

On completion of the course students will be able to:
• Explain the range and nature of issues which make up the realm of security cooperation between the two states
• demonstrate an understanding of both sides' interest in this cooperation
• plan and prepare arguments that stress the added benefits of such cooperation
• criticise and/or defend the more controversial projects of cooperation
• grasp the legal and societal limits and restrictions of security cooperation
• present their arguments in favor of security cooperation projects
