Course/Module description:
The course’s main objective is to explore the uniqueness of the open-ended interview as a research tactic. In the class sessions we’ll discuss various theoretical and practical issues regarding the interview. It is assumed that students come with basic knowledge of qualitative research, and the course will take the form of a workshop. In other words, the learning process will take place alongside hands-on experience in interviewing and class discussions will be based on this experience and on assigned reading.

To extend and deepen students’ familiarity with the interview as qualitative research method.
