Course/Module description:
The course "rituals and magic" is an intensive course which will take place during the semester break,. The course will be held at five museums in Jerusalem: Museum of Italian Jewish Art, Old Yishuv Court Museum, Hechal-Shlomo – The Jewish Heritage Center in Jerusalem, The Museum of Islamic Art and The Museum on the Seam. Each Museum will host us for one day. During the day we will focus on one theoretical perspective deals with the subject of rituals and magic. After a lecture and discussion, we will be guided at the Museum by local experts. After the tour, we will hear a specialist lecture or view a film.

Course/Module aims:
Expand student's knowledge of anthropological theories about rituals and ceremonies and allow them to apply this knowledge.
