תאור כללי של הקורס:
בקורס זה נעסוק בתהליכי שינוי, ייצוג והבדלי זהות במרחב ובמקום. הזירה העיקרית שלנו תהיה ירושלים ונביט בה מנקודת ראות אנתרופולוגית. הקורס מתמקד בהתרחשות האנושית בירושלים -- וכיצד הנרטיב שמייצג אנשים וקבוצות בירושלים והפעילות בה באים לביטוי ומבנים מקומות מסויימים בה -- ולא את העיר כשלעצמה. נתרכז בנקודת מבט ביקורתית המחברת בין ההתרחשות החברתית היום יומית וזירות חברתיות רחבות יותר. במקום תפיסה של המקום ושל זהות כתכונה קוהרנטית, מהותית וקבועה נעסוק באנשים במקומות מסויימים כפי שאלה פועלים בתוך הקשרים מרובים, רב-שכבתיים, יצירתיים, רב משמעיים, ותוך ביטוי של אינטרסים וקונפליקטים. מקומות אינם נתונים אלא מיוצרים בידי יחידים וקבוצות חברתיות במרחבים מסויימים, ותוך ביצור ושבירה של גבולות, וייצוגם המורכב.

מטרות הקורס:
קריאה ביקורתית בגישות אנתרופולוגיות על מרחב ומקום, לימוד כיצד לבצע מחקר אנתרופולוגי על הממשק שבין אנשים ומקום. הדגש הוא נרטיבי ותוך שימת לב לשאלות על שינוי, קונפליקט וכוח. ביצוע המחקר על כל שלביו, ועד לכתיבת עבודה סמינריונית המבוססת על מחקר אמפירי, אנתרופולוגי באתר ספציפי.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
-- לזהות אתר מתאים למחקר אמפירי ספציפי בשאלה באנתרופולוגיה של מקום.
– לעקוב מקרוב אחרי תהליך של פעילות אנושית במקום ותהליכי שינוי.
– להעריך איזו פרספקטיבה אנתרופולוגית מתאימה כמסגרת תיאורטית להבנת הזהות הנחקרת.
–– לחקור את תהליך הבניית המקום.
– לאסוף מגוון חומרים מתאימים לתהליך הבניית המקום
-- לסווג את התופעות השונות.
–– לפרש את החומרים שנאספו.
-- להכליל מהדפוסים השונים מהו תהליך שינוי במקום בממשק האנושי שלו.
-- לבקר את התיאוריה שמשמשת מסגרת למחקר כך שתתאים לתהליך הנחקר.

שיטת ההוראה בקורס: הרצאה, שיחה ודיון ביקורתי בתהליך המחקרי האנתרופולוגי, קריאה משותפת בכיתה של פריטי קריאה רלוונטיים, הצגת מחקרים אמפיריים, אנתרופולוגים, שימוש והצגה של מגוון חומרים לבחינה של מקום ודיון ביקורתי בהם, הצגה ודיון ביקורתי במחקרים הראשוניים של הסטודנטים.

- מבוא: ערוצי זהות בגוף-מרחב-מקום, באובייקטים ובנרטיבים
- תהליך המחקר (רציונל הקורס וסילבוס). מקום בקונפליקט וריבויי זהויות בכלל ובירושלים בפרט. הצגה עצמית של הסטודנטים
- ניתוח אתרים אפשריים למחקר קבוצותסובייקטים במרחבים ומקומות בירושלים: רעיונות ראשוניים.
- ערוצי זהות וניתוח תיאורטי של מושגי מרחב-מקום וזהות מפרספקטיבה אנתרופולוגית . ם פוליטיקה של זהויות, חלוקת העיר למקומות, ומשמעויות סותרות במרחבים חברתיים משותפים
- דיון תיאורטי על מושגי מרחב-מקום וזהות בדגש מתודולוגי
- דיון ברעיונות למחקר על מקומות וזהויות.
- דרכי הביצוע ודיון בתצפית משתתפת
- פרדיגמות בחקר מקומות וזהויות -- מרחבים שלישיים וזהויות היברידיות: גישה פוסטקולוניאלית
- יחיד במרחב: היחס בין סובייקט וקולקטיב, גישה פרגמטית
- ניתוח אירוע : ¬מציאות, פרספקטיבה וייצוג
- ראיון, נרטיב, הקשר תרבותי ויחסי כוח: מהו ראיון, כיצד מקיימים ראיון, וכיצד ראיון מתקשר לחקר מקום וזהות?
- ניתוח ראיונות: דרכי העברה ופרשנויות אפשריות בהקשר של חקר סובייקטים ופעילותם במרחב ובמקום
- דוגמא מחקרית: הכלה והדרה של מהגרים במרחב מגורים, עבודה ובתי דין: ין לגיור
- דיון בתצפיות וראיונות כבסיס לכתיבת הצעת מחקר. היערכות סטודנטים לפרויקטים האישיים והתארגנות לקראת סמסטר ב'
