תאור כללי של הקורס:
במסגרת הקורס נכיר את תולדותיה של האמנות היוונית והרומית למן ראשית האלף הראשון לפני הספירה ועד למאה הרביעית לספירה. באמצעות ניתוח של יצירות מסוגים שונים נתוודע אל השאלות המחקריות שהן מעלות ואל מגוון הגישות בהן ניתן לדון בהן.

מטרות הקורס:
היכרות עם מגוון רחב של יצירות אמנות יווניות ורומיות
היכרות עם מגוון מקורות מידע בני הזמן הנחוצים להבנת יצירות האמנות
היכרות עם גישות מחקריות מסורתיות וחדשות בתחום האמנות הקלאסית

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
הקורס נועד לספק לתלמידים ידע וכלים לדיון ביקורתי ביצירות אמנות יווניות ורומיות.

שעור 1 : יוון; תקופת החושך והאמנות הגיאומטרית ותקופת ההתמזרחות

הדרכה: יוון בתקופת ההתמזרחות ובתקופה הארכאית – השוואת הקרמיקה הפרוטו-אטית לקרמיקה הפרוטו-קורינתית.

שעור 2 : מאפייני המקדש היווני, אדריכלות ועטור אדריכלי בתקופה הארכאית.

הדרכה: המאפיינים הסגנוניים של פסלי העלמות בתקופה הארכאית.

שעור 3: ציור כדים בתקופה הארכאית וראשית התקופה הקלאסית.

הדרכה: טכניקת ייצור כלי החרס המצוירים וצורות הכלים.


שעור 4: אדריכלות קלאסית קדומה: מקדש זאוס באולימפיה.

הדרכה: ציור הכדים בתקופה הגיאומטרית והארכאית.

שעור 5: אדריכלות יוונית בתקופה הקלאסית בשיאה ובתקופת הסגנון העשיר.

הדרכה: ניתוח פסלו של פידיאס, אתנה פרתנוס

שעור 6: פסול קלאסי וציור כדים בתקופה הקלאסית בשיאה ובתקופת הסגנון העשיר.

שעור 7: אמנות יוון במאה ה-4

הדרכה: המאוזולאום בהליקרנסוס

שעור 8: אמנות הלניסטית.

הדרכה: המזבח של פרגמון.

שעור 9: אמנות הלניסטית.

הדרכה: מגמות בפיסול ההלניסטי.

שעור 10: אמנות רומית בתקופת הרפובליקה וראשית הקיסרות.

הדרכה: פורטרטים רומיים

שעור 11: אמנות רומית; פסול ואדריכלות בתקופת הקיסרות.

הדרכה: אמנות רומית ברומא ובפרובינקיות.

שעור 12: אמנות רומית; פסול ואדריכלות בתקופת הקיסרות.

שעור 13: אמנות רומית ; ציור ופסיפס.
