In this course we will study basic topics in calculus and see some application in science.

Course/Module aims:
Developing mathematical techniques which are required in statistics.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
By the end of this course you will be able to tackle basic mathematical problems from different areas and to apply the basic theorems of calculus

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lectures +exercises

Course/Module Content:
Sequences of numbers, limits of sequences, functions, limits of functions, continuity and differentiability, the basic theorems of calculus, analysis of functions, integration.
