Course/Module description:
The course encompasses basic principles in rehabilitation philosophy and objectives in psychosocial treatment, as well as topics related to ethics, legalization and the media. An emphasis is put on values and ethics underlying rehabilitation psychologist's work with different rehabilitation populations. Unique aspects of the profession will be discussed.

The student will encounter the complexity of the concept "rehabilitation"
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Students will be able to examine rehabilitation issues in their cultural, political, ethical and social aspects

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:
Students will be required to read theoretical and empirical materials regarding different rehabilitation domains. Lectures will be held alone with group discussions. Assignments will be accomplished at home and presented in class.
Thought assignments: two short compositions dealing with a topic from reading materials. Compositions will be two pages double-spaced and will present the topic in a critical manner. Each composition will be assessed on a scale of 1-10. Assignments will be delivered by 26/3 and 30/4, respectively.
