Course/Module description:
the seminar will revolve around the role of consistency in human mental life.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
- describe major theories in the field
- identify unique predictions for each theory
- point to both positive and negative aspects of inconsistency
- identify cognitive, affective and motivational factors underlying inconsistency experience.

Additional information:
For each class students will read 2-3 papers which will be the basis for class discussion. Reading and thinking about the papers before each class is essential for the class to be effective and interesting. grade will be determined based on class presentation (30%) and a final paper (70%)
