Course/Module description:
Course will be based on classic and recent professional literature and on clinical examples of lecturer and students. Emphasis will be put on translating suggested literature to actual application as therapists in the field and on capturing the therapy setting according to each theory
Course/Module aims:
Explore major psychodynamic theories relevant to rehabilitation psychologists in medical and rehabilitation systems in Israel and apply their adjustment to clinical cases arising from the field.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Develop analytic capability and creativity, in order to analyze system needs and clients' needs and provide the specific intervention relevant. Professionalizing in these capabilities will enable students to act consciously and systematically in the complex settings characterizing rehabilitation psychology.
