Course/Module description:
This is an introductory course in the social psychology of intergroup relations. It will focus on the psychological aspects of intergroup relations with special emphasis on power relations, identity processes,racism, discrimination, collective action and more.
Course/Module aims:
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Students will develop deep knowledge in basic theories of intergroup relations
Students will read contemporary texts in the field
Students will be familiar with the history and the development of the field
Students will acquire analytical and consultation skills in the psychology of intergroup relations
