Course/Module description:
This course will introduce a selective review of the past, present and potential future of psychology as a scientific field of inquiry. You will learn about principles, methods, concepts, and leading figures in psychology.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
By the end of the course, you should:
1) recognize and appreciate the psychological aspect of daily experiences and important social issues.
2) describe basic concepts and ideas in psychology, including experiments, findings, and researchers.
3) analyze psychological claims, as they are presented in research and in the media, from an open-minded yet critical perspective.
4) recognize a range of methods, correlational and experimental, that are used to test psychological questions.
