תאור כללי של הקורס:
בעידן הנוכחי, תקשורת בין-תרבותית הינה מרכיב מרכזי בהקשרים רבים, ביניהם עולם העסקים, דיפלומטיה, אקדמיה, תיירות, רשתות חברתיות ואינטראקציה בין-אישית, הן מקוונים והן בלתי-מתווכים. אתגרי התקשורת בין-תרבותית נוכחים בהקשר הישראלי, בו קבוצות מרקעים שונים, בין אם תרבותיים, לאומיים, אידיאולוגיים או דתיים, נמצאות במגע יומיומי. קמפוס הר הצופים הוא דוגמא מובהקת לכך, תלמידי הפקולטה למדעי החברה פוגשים בכיתותיהם דעות, נורמות, ערכים והתנהגויות שונות, לעיתים לראשונה. מורכבותם וחשיבותם של מפגשים בין תרבותיים מצריכות ניתוח מפרספקטיבות שונות, כגון לשונית, חברתית וכמובן, תרבותית. הקורס המוצע יציג בפני הסטודנטים מחקרים עדכניים בתחום התקשורת הבין תרבותית ואף יבחן את מושג התקשורת הבין תרבותית לכשעצמו. השאלות בהן הקורס יעסוק הן, מהי תרבות, ומהי תקשורת? ומכאן, מהי תקשורת בין-תרבותית? כיצד באות לידי ביטוי זהויות תרבותיות וחברתיות שונות באינטראקציה בין תרבותית? כיצד משפיע העולם הדיגיטלי על תקשורת בין-תרבותית? וכיצד תקשורת בין תרבותית משפיעה על העולם הדיגיטלי?

מטרות הקורס:
קורס זה ישאף לספק לתלמידים ולתלמידות הבנה רחבה ומולטי-דיסציפלינארית של תקשורת בין תרבותית כתופעה ותחום מחקר. כמו כן, קורס זה יספק לתלמידיו ותלמידותיו כלים יישומיים לשיפור כישורי האינטראקציה הבין-תרבותית שלהם בחייהם האקדמיים, המקצועיים והאישיים.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
• לבחון את המרכיב הלשוני באינטראקציות בין-תרבותיות ולהצביע על האתגרים והיתרונות של עבודה ומפגש בין קבוצות בעלות זהויות שונות, תוך דגש על מגוון בחברה הישראלית.
• ליישם שיטות ניתוח לשוניות על אינטראקציות אישיות או ציבוריות, מתווכות או לא מתווכות.
• רכישת כלים המקדמים מיומנויות של שיח מכיל ועידוד מודעות ורפלקסיה עצמית על הנחות היסוד המניעות תקשורת בהקשרים בין תרבותיים
