Course/Module description:
The course introduces qualitative approaches and methods of research from a narrative perspective.

Course/Module aims:
The purpose of the course is to introduce students to qualitative approaches and to experience different methods of collecting data from public sources and from personal interviews. Learning is hand-on based, providing students with experience both in collecting and analyzing data. Ethical aspects in interviews receive special attention.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: lectures and discussion during the course and the TA section. Students are required to present the data they collected as part of the learning experience.
