Course/Module description:
Podcasting is one of the most innovative fields in the global media market. It’s rapid growth initiated a revolution in the worlds of radio and journalism. Even though it’s an obvious product of the Internet Age, in many ways the podcast is a subversive form, which goes against prominent trends in media, and goes back to the basic aspects of storytelling. In this workshop, the students will learn how to create narrative-driven podcasts, through the basics: “story hunting”, research, interviewing, creating narrative form and writing a script, recording and narrating.

Course/Module aims:
Finding and recognizing documentary and journalistic stories
Writing an audio based script
Working with audio recording gear
Conducting interviews
Writing and working in a team

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
the final assignment will be a narrative podcast, 10-15 minutes.
