Course/Module description:
As part of the course, the students will study a variety of subjects in the field of transportation
planning, including, among others, planning of public transportation and transportation master plans. In addition,
students will learn how to integrate geographic information systems into transportation
planning processes.

Course/Module aims:
To provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge in the use of geographic
information systems in transportation planning processes.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Students will acquire:
- theoretical and practical knowledge enabling them to perform basic evaluation and analysis
transportation systems
- Practical experience in using databases and relevant tools for analysis and planning of
transportation systems

Additional information:
Course participants have an obligation to submit all the exercises given in the course.
Each week of delay beyond the set date results in a 10 point reduction from the exercise
score up to a maximum of two weeks delay (-20 pts).
Failure to submit an exercise after two weeks of delay will result in a grade 0.
