Understanding the necessity, scope and limitations of UDG; and the considerations thereof: the history, geography, people and ideas.

Course/Module aims:
To provide the students with the necessary knowledge for making decisions in the realm of Urban Design

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
To understand the complexity and breadth of the knowledge necessary to write UDG's

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lectures, Class discussion and a tour

What are Urban Design Guidelines; The history of Architecture in Israel; The history of a city (to be selected); The meaning of a design concept
