Course/Module description:
the concept of Sustainability has more then 100 definitions, while the challenge for scholars, decisiom makers and practitioners is how to implement that to practical evrydy life. this course suggest a 4 days workshop (hacaton) in order to advance a self idea of students in order to look for ways of implementain that to a practical project in a local community in Israel.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. learning the main theories of sustainability and its terminology.
2. to get exposed to practiotioners and activists in Israek who are leading or implementing sustainable projects.

Attendance requirements(%):
full attendance in the 4 days (3 nights) of the workshop.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:

Course/Module Content:
theories of sustainabilty; basic terms of environmental activism; ecopolitics; Place making; case studies from Israel and abroad.
