Course/Module description:
The course offers tools for writing academic papers in English: researching a topic, constructing an argument, providing evidence from primary and secondary sources, use of rhetorical devices and improving style. This course is mandatory for all students in the Department of English.

Frontal lecture and group work.
Course/Module Content:
The course begins with constructing arguments in the most general sense and gradually progresses towards writing papers of growing complexity, with an emphasis on analyzing literature -- poetry and prose.
