Course/Module description:
the aim of this course is to know the media of wall paintings from its beginning in the Paleolithic period, we will learn about the egyptian paintings and will focus on the Greek and Roman technique of fresco, which achieved great artistic values.
Course/Module aims:
getting to know a unique artistic technique, which began so early and continues till our days.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

8. the Fresco technique and its first appearance
9. Pompeii and Campania, 1st and 2nd styles
10. Pompeii, 3rd and 4th style
11. the Roman painting around the provinces
12. wall painting in late roman times
13. what between Fresco and Mosaic
14. the end of fresco and beginning of wall mosiacs.
