Course/Module description:
Introduction to the archaeology of Israel and the Near East in the Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age I periods, placed between two of the main revolutions in human history (the Agricultural Revolution and the Urban Revolution).

Course/Module aims:
Presenting the various cultural stages in Israel and the Nesr East between ca. 10,000-3,000 BC

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
To characterize the material culture of each period, from ca. 10,000 to 3,000 BC.
To read and summarize professional literature.
To learn the main sites of each period.
