Course/Module description:
Environmental history explores the relations between humans and nature across history. In this course, we will trace a the main scholarly approaches of the field, focusing mostly on modern environmental history.
Course/Module aims:
An introduction to the main approaches in the field of environmental history
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Be familiar with the main questions and areas of inquiry in the field.
2. Critically analyze primary and secondary sources.
3. Construct ideas and arguments based on sources, in both speech and writing.
