This course will survey some crucial points in the history of the Middle Ages. Among the topic that will discussed are: the passage from Late Antiquity to the Middle Ages; the Barbarians Invasions and the emergence of the Barbarian kingdoms; the Carolingian era; the Feudal kingdoms of Europe; the Renaissance of the twelfth century; The crisis of the later Middle Ages.
