מטרת הסמינר לדון בבלקן כאזור מפגש בין נצרות, אסלאם ויהדות. הסמינר ידון בשלטון העות'מאני ובמורשתו, בעליית התנועות הלאומיות ובהקמתן של מדינות לאום ויחסיהן עם המיעוטים

מטרות הקורס:
מטרת הסמינר להציג לתלמיד את האירועים והתהליכים ההיסטוריים העיקריים שעצבו את הבלקן במאות ה-19 וה-20

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
הסמינר יכשיר את התלמידים לכתוב עבודה עצמאית בנושאים הקשורים לחברה, תרבות והיסטוריה של הבלקן.
