Course/Module description:
Students in this course will participate in different lecture on language and cognition. We will discuss research in theoretical linguistics, psycho-linguistics and the philosophy of language. Question such as the following will be raised: Given that much of communication is only implied, how do we design what we say? How do we understand what is said to us? What factors in the cognitive capacity of human beings constrain and forge the structure of language?

Course/Module aims:
acquaintance with different aspects of research in Language Logic and Cognition

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
