Course/Module description:
The course is offered for Students in the Learning Disabilities class, and is meant to present fundamental knowledge and tools that will allow them to understand the meaning of the concept "Intelligence" and the way it is measured in the field of Psychology.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: lectures

Course/Module Content:
1. Intelligence tests and the method of grading.
2. Norms (the they are set, their meaning and use).
3. Interpretations and false interpretations of grades (sub-tests and IQ grades).
4. Psychometric concepts
5. Diagnostic meaning of grades and gaps between grades, Profiles and comparison between group and individual profiles.
6. Intelligence and learning disabilities.
