Course/Module description:
The purpose of the workshop is to provide students with knowledge and skills for teaching social sciences in terms of the curriculum and the dilemmas that accompany the teaching process. The main topics to be discussed during the workshop will be: the structure of the profession and learning objectives, different teaching methods, planning a lesson appropriate to the student population, summative and formative assessment, classroom management, motivation in education and issues of ethics in education

Course/Module aims:
Recognize and understand the goals and structure of the curriculum
• What are the study materials: the textbooks and the changing curriculum.
• Understand the unique characteristics of the teaching methods of the profession
• The concept of empathy in education and its meaning in the teacher-student relationship

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Know and understand the goals of the curriculum
understand the manner of examination in the field of the profession
Adapt the teaching methods to student's population
Recognize and experience in ways of evaluation
Understand and experience different relationships between teachers and students
understand and anylize the classroom climat
