Course/Module description:
The course focuses on giving a historical perspective on the development of Israel's education system from the 1950s to the present and follows different topics as they change over time.

Course/Module aims:
1. Acquiring knowledge about different topics related to the education system from the 1950s to the present.
2. Developing critical reading skills of educational policy documents.
3. Developing a historical perspective in relations to changing educational policies.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Students will be informed about the key historical development in Israel's education system since the 1950s and up to the present.
2. Students will have a basic ability to critically read an educational policy document.
3. Students will develop a critical outlook.
