Course/Module description:
This workshop has two main goals: the first is to expose students to key issues that dominate the debates of education, teaching and teacher education in the 21st century. The second goal is to offer students an opportunity to reflectively think about these issues based on their own empirical studies.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
*To have deep knowledge of key issues that dominate the academic fields of education, teaching and teacher education
* To identify a central issue they are interested in
*to plan and conduct an empirical research based on the chosen topic
*to develop a personal stance based on the experience of conducting research

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: The first part of the course will held in a whole-class format and will consist of discussions led by the teachers and the students. The second part will be in seminar format
