Course/Module description:
The course will focus on developing a model and conceptualization for processing bereavement and grief in a group-community approach and operating principles for developing tools based on different types of knowledge, not necessarily professional and academic knowledge. The starting point for the course will be the "Abraham's Tent" program (from the foundation of the Gvanim association) that was established after the outbreak of the war to treat groups of young people who lost friends and relatives in Nova and the war. The program is run by young people who are trained to facilitate the groups but are not professionals. The course will work to learn the methods of action through observations and interviews and joint learning with the operators of the model and its participants, and will focus both on the specific grief processing model of "Abraham's Tent" and on the meaning of recovery models that are based on knowledge from experience and other types of knowledge.

Course/Module aims:
•Development and conceptualization of a group model for grief and bereavement.
• Strengthening academic-field relationships through the development of inclusive knowledge between students and people in the field - professionals and service recipients.
• Experience in collaborative learning as a professional-organizational lifestyle.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Awareness of the meanings of different types of knowledge
Familiarity with models and methods of group and community therapy in bereavement
Taking part in conceptualization and professional writing
