Course/Module description:
Participants will read and discuss articles from “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, FAZ&eq; Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”, “Spiegel”, “Bild” etc. as examples of different leading German Press in order to gain a diverse multiperspective picture of current political and sociocultural facts of Germany.

Course/Module aims:
They will extend and improve their German vocabulary and sensibility for "language of media" while exploring contemporary German life: politics, culture, society, music, youth culture.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
develop and use German language skills

development of language awareness regarding press & media
