Course/Module description:
In Latin America, "futbol" or soccer is not just a game. Born in Britain, soccer arrived in Latin America in the late 1800s and has since become deeply ingrained in Latin America’s identity and culture. At the international level, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Uruguay stand out as the most successful teams in the global scene. Several Latin American players such as Messi, Kun Aguero, Angel Di Maria, Neymar and more were "exported" to the richest Europeans teams.
