Course/Module description:
Spanish for advanced including grammar and vocabulary, understanding the spoken and the written language, exercising writing and speech.
Course/Module aims:
Acquire tools to understand, speak, read and write Spanish in Advanced’s level.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Understand and use daily expressions and conduct middle and long conversations.
• Talk about oneself, their feelings, studies, work, life experiences, etcetera.
• Write Curriculum Vitae, letters, essays and so on.
• Speak about the real future (indicative) and unreal future (subjunctive).
• Make use of conditional sentences.
• Talk about their Currriculum Vitae.
• Tell anecdotes and compare between past, present , real future and unreal future.
• Read professional and literary texts in intermediate and advanced level.
Attendance requirements(%):
90% participation in the classes.
Teaching arrangement and method of instruction:
Lectures, exercise, poem, audio and video.
Course/Module Content:
1.Giving personal information: habits, motivations, intentions, recommendations and express duration.
2. Express likes and preferences.
3. Identify and describe a person physically. Also his caracter.
4. Function in the following situations: invitations, introductions, greetings, farewells, restaurantes, etc.
5. Talk about leisure activities, schedules, describing places, recounting past experiences. Speak about intentions and projects.
6. Speak about tastes and eating habits.
7. Cinema. An imaginary biography. Describe and relate past events.
8. Interesting things of the place in which we live.
9. Find solutions to some problems. Give advice, describing moods, etc.
10. Expressing wishes, claims, complaints and need (subjunctive).
11. Evoke unreal situations. Expressing wishes and learn the use of conditional sentences.

Additional information:
* The right to take the exam at the end of the course depends on the participation in two thirds of the classes and in the submission of the assignments.
* According to the structure of the course there is no need to use computer in class. If a student would use a computer for purposes not relating to the class the teacher would be allowed to reduce 10% of his total mark.
