Course/Module description:
Spanish for beginners including grammar and vocabulary, understanding the spoken and the written language, exercising writing and speech.
Course/Module aims:
Acquire tools to understand, speak, read and write Spanish in beginner’s level.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
• Understand and use daily expressions and conduct short conversations.
• Talk about oneself, their family, neighborhood and town/city.
• Write simple letters and short essays.
• Describe their home, mood and wellbeing.
• Speak about the future and their plans.
• Talk about their biography and of others.
• Tell anecdotes and compare between past and present.
• Read professional and literary texts in basic and average level.

Additional information:
* The semesterial exam will be in class, but the final exam is identical to all the students of the course. It will take place at the same place, the same hour and day.
* The right to take the exam at the end of the course depends on the participation in two thirds of the classes and in the submission of the assignments.
* According to the structure of the course there is no need to use computer in class. If a student would use a computer for purposes not relating to the class the teacher would be allowed to reduce 10% of his total mark.
