Course/Module description:
During the course we will read texts of various lyrical poets, we will be acquainted with different Greek dialects, and will learn different lyrical meters.

Course/Module aims:
Acquaintance with representative examples of the poets of the Greek lyric canon, acquaintance with lyrical meters and various dialects. Acquaintance with various representations of the lyrical experience and its poetical expressions.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
To analyze various meters of lyric poetry, to recognize the characteristics of various dialects, to know the poetical world of the central figures in the canon of Greek lyric.
