Course/Module description:
presentation of Ugaritic grammar in the light of Hebrew grammar and other Northwest Semitic languages; selected readings from the Kirta, Aqhat, and Baal epic poems as well as epistles and other genres
Course/Module aims:
linguistically and scientifically analyze Ugaritic
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
compare and contrast Ugaritic grammar with that of other Northwest Semitic languages; read Ugaritic texts with fluency
