תאור כללי של הקורס:
קריאה במבחר פרקים מתרגום השבעים לספר יהושע, בהשוואה לעדי נוסח אחרים של הספר (בעיקר נוסח המסורה). נתמקד בשאלות של ביקורת הנוסח, פרשנות ,טכניקת תרגום, וההתפתחות הספרותית של ספר יהושע.

מטרות הקורס:
(1) להכיר את אופיו של תרגום השבעים, כולל טכניקת התרגום;
(2) לרכוש את הכלים הבסיסיים לניתוח טקסטואלי-פילולוגי של המקרא (כולל צרגום השבעים);
(3) לעמוד על היבטים טקסטואליים, פרשניים, וספרותיים-ביקורתיים של ספר יהושע, לאור תרגום השבעים.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
לבחון את הטקסט המקראי ע"פ השיטה הפילולוגית-טקסטואלית
לדון ביסודיות בטקסט המקראי ובבעיות הפרשניות העולות בקריאתו
לפרש את הכתובים המקראיים בעזרת פרשנים קודמים (מסורתיים וביקורתיים)
לשפוט את היתרונות והחסרונות של פירושים/פרשנים ספציפיים
לנסח את המסקנות האלה בבהירות בכתב ובע"פ
