תאור כללי של הקורס:
סמינר זה יוקדש לגלגוליהן של דמויות מן המקרא דרך ספרות בית שני לסוגיה, חז״ל והנצרות הקדומה. נעסוק בביוגרפיה יהודית בעת העתיקה, בבדיון ופסבדואפיגרפיה אל מול בשאלת בניית (או התפרקות) הדמויות בספרויות הפרשניות הללו. העיסוק בדמות, פיתוחה וניוונה הוא פריזמה מוצלחת להתבונן דרכה על אחריתו של הסיפור המקראי ולהעמיק בפרשנות העת העתיקה ומגמותיה. נוכל לראות כיצד באמצעות פרקטיקות מגוונות של שכתוב, הרחבה, דיוק, עריכה ופירוק קבוצות שונות בעת העתיקה עצבו את המקרא על פי רוחן, לא פעם אלו כנגד אלו.

1. לבחון את גלגוליהן של דמויות מקראיות נבחרות בתקופות ומסורות שונות

• ספרות חז״ל
• ספרות נוצרית קדומה
2. לפתח הבנה של פרשנות מקרא קדומה, וכיצד התגלמה בצורות ספרותיות שונות בעת העתיקה

בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
להתמצא טוב יותר בספרות המדרש, בשכתובי מקרא ובפירושים של אבות הכנסיה. לקרוא אותם ולדון בהם מזוויות ספרותיות מגוונות בהקשרן ההיסטורי.
