Course/Module description:
The book of Ruth is one of the smallest books in the bible, yet many find it to be the most human and moving one. In the course we'll explore the verses of Ruth as well as their Midrashim, while focusing on the way the Rabbis redesign the characters and the events described in the book.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The Students will deepen their familiarity with the verses of the Book of Ruth and the Midrashic traditions relating to them.
Each student will select a verse or topic from the book and present to the class a short review of the Midrashic work around it.
