תאור כללי של הקורס:
נתוודא לתמורות בתפיסות של חיבורים ומחברים ע"י קריאה בהקדמות חיבורים מז'אנרים שונים בספרות הערבית הקלאסית. נעמוד על האלמנטים הקבועים בהקדמות ועל תפקידיהם. בנוסף נקרא מספרות המחקר על סוגת ההקדמה ועל תמורות ספרותיות הקשורות אליה.

מטרות הקורס:
להתוודות לתמורות בתפיסות של חיבורים ומחברים ע"י קריאה בהקדמות חיבורים מז'אנרים שונים בספרות הערבית הקלאסית ולעמוד על האלמנטים הקבועים בהקדמות ועל תפקידיהם. בנוסף נקרא מספרות המחקר על סוגת ההקדמה ועל תמורות ספרותיות הקשורות אליה.

תוצרי למידה :
בסיומו של קורס זה, סטודנטים יהיו מסוגלים:
1. לפתח כלים בניתוח הקדמות
2. לזהות אלמנטים קבועים בהקדמה וכיצד הכותב משנה או מעבד אותם
3. להשוות בין הקדמות שונות של אותו מחבר ולהצביע על הסיבות לשוני ביניהן
4. לפרט אודות התמורות בתפיסות תפקיד המחבר וזיקתו לקהל לאורך המאות הראשונות באסלאם ע"פ קריאת מקורות וע"פ ספרות המחקר
