Course/Module description:
An advanced discussion of several topics from the contemporary literature in political philosophy (in the analytic tradition).

Course/Module aims:
An intellectually serious discussion of the specific issues to be discussed in the seminar; using that discussion also to achieve a better familiarity with the contemporary literature in political philosophy, and sharpening of the philosophical skills more generally.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
I don't believe in stating learning outcomes - much less measurable ones - for a seminar that consists in philosophical discussion.

Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lecture and discussion. Possibly also student presentations.

Course/Module Content:
The first topic will consist of several examples of flawed consent (like coerced consent, third-party coercion, manipulation, false consciousness). Further topics will be suggested, and a choice will be made together with the students.
