Course/Module description:
The course will examine the component of intention in difference domains in Rabbinic literature such as prayer,torts, shabbat, and ritual while adressing philosophical issues concerning intention

Course/Module aims:
Undrstanding the role of intention and inner life in rabbinic literature and the possible contribution of philosophical discussions of intention to a deeper understading of the question in rabbinic literature

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The student will be exposed to the analysis of talmudic discussion will understand the main philosophical trends concerning intention and will explore the different contexts in which the quesiton of intention appears in rabbinic literature
