Course/Module description:
The course will focus on a close reading of archival documents from various archives in Israel and abroad, shedding light on crucial chapters and issues regarding the establishment of the State of Israel.
Course/Module aims:
An in-depth look at basic issues in the history of the State of Israel and the accumulation of research skills in reading primary material.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Read historical documents in a skillful manner and in their historical context.

It is desirable to participate at the same time in the seminar "The Challange of Sovereignty" since the archive documents will be directly related to the subjects studied at the seminar. It is also possible to participate in this seminar independently.
