Course/Module description:
Egodocuments are an important genre which has been the subject of research in the last decade. sephardi jews were hardly 'read' in that respect. during the course we shall try to fill this gap and learn about their lives through their own writings, mostly in Hebrew.

Course/Module aims:
the abilty to locate and read primary sources of this genre, and learn about sephardi lives

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
practicing critical reading of sources; new insights about self conception and world view
