Course/Module description:
In recent decades research of Jerusalem and Jewish community in Ottoman Jerusalem made an important progress. Some of it is based on new sources. In our meetings we will read various primary sources written in Hebrew with a few goals: learn what is available to us nowadays, how to read as historians, and have a better understanding of the community’s history.
