Course/Module description:
This course addresses varied pedagogic and didactic challenges in teaching Bible in Israeli seculer- public schools. The course provides conceptual and practical knowledge, as well as skills to teach Bible in thoughtful and creative ways. The course covers topics including: the goals and objectives of the National Bible curriculum, literary skills to Bible education, hermeneutics and pedagogy, Biblical criticism, theological challenges, teaching biblical law, and values education.
