Course/Module description:
We will read and discuss segments from the works of Arab and Muslim thinkers from the late 19th century onwards.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
Familiarity with prominent Arab and Muslim thinkers from the 20th century and ability to analyze representations of the Arab world in Western and Israeli Discourse.
