Course/Module description:
The class is an introduction to midrash aggada as presented in critical editions,

Course/Module aims:
1. To introduce the student to the various types of midrash aggada
2. to develop proficiency in reading aggadic literature along with scientific apparatus

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Knowledge of the various collections of Midrash aggada
2. ability to read and interpret an aggadic text
