Course/Module description:
In this course we will learn Leonardo's works in three fields of painting: religious, mythological, and portraiture. We will try to understand their charismatic power: every work of his is a masterpiece and every work demands the close inspection of its every element: it is not even important whether the extant painting is indeed done by the master's hand.
Course/Module aims:
to learn Leonardo's paintings as the product of the Florentine master; to understand the visual tradition in which the traditional subjects became perceived as innovative; to understand these works in relation to their destined location; to write a research paper with distinction between facts and hypotheses and between ideas of critics and those of scholars.
Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
to learn in depth the paintings of Leonardo in light of their traditional iconography; to distinguish between categories of works; to raise questions by way of combining observation and knowledge; to write a research paper.

בהמשך להסברים שניתנו בשיעורים הקודמים, שבאחד מהם נמסרה הביבליוגרפיה, להלן מידע מפורט לגבי דרישות הקורס השנתי ומבנה הציון הסופי:
דרישות הקורס ומשקלן בציון הסופי:
100%- עבודה סמינריונית– כ-15 עמודים לא כולל דפי הערות וביבליוגרפיה לעבודה או רפרט בכיתה (20 דקות) בצרוף של תקציר, תוכן העניינים וביבליוגרפיה.
הנהלת האוניברסיטה דורשת נוכחות בכל השיעורים. בהתאם להנחיותיה, נוכחות בשיעורים היא תנאי לקבלת העבודה הסופית לבדיקה ולקבלת ציון סופי. עם זאת אני מקווה שתשתתפו בשיעורים בעיקר מתוך עניין בנושא הסמינר, ושתיקחו חלק פעיל בדיונים בכיתה. אבקש למצוא דרך להודיע מראש במקרים בהם אין באפשרותכם להגיע לשיעור.
נושא העבודה, תיאורו הקצר, ראשי הפרקים והביבליוגרפיה צריכים להיות מוגשים ב-15 בדצמבר (ההגשה בשיעור עצמו).
העברת הרפרטים מתאפשרת בשבועיים האחרונים של הסמסטר ועל העברתם יש לסמן על הדפים שיוגשו ב-15 בדצמבר.
את העבודה יש להגיש למזכירות לא יאוחר מ-21 בפברואר (21.2.2016). עקב יציאתי לשבתון לא יתקבלו עבודות לבדיקה אחרי התאריך הזה. כמובן שניתן להגיש את הנוסח הסופי של העבודה לפני המועד הסופי.
