Course/Module description:
We will deal with the definitions, explanations and reasons for homelessness, as well as the existing and possible solutions to the problems that may arise in this situation. The literature we will deal with will be from Israel and the world, and in the discussion we will also examine the situation of those experiencing homelessness in Israel.

Course/Module aims:

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
The student will be able to:
- describe the population of people experiencing homelessness
- list the explanations and reasons for homelessness
- explain the needs of those experiencing homelessness, as well as the services that exist for them in Israel and around the world.
- engage in policies related to those experiencing homelessness
- start working with those experiencing homelessness
