Course/Module description:
During this yearlong seminar course, students complete a research that reflects their theoretical and practical learning in narrative research.
Through the discussion of narrative methodology, the students are initially prepared for small group research (3-4 participants) on selected aspects of the topic. Subsequently, the emphasis shifts to the discussion of the research in progress, group-supervision and the presentation of research projects and research report to the class.

Course/Module aims:
-To expose students to qualitative methodologies used in narrative research.
-To develop a critical understanding of narrative research process and methods as applied to social work research.
-To engage students in conducting a sustained disciplined research of a topic related to identity.

Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
-Write a research proposal.
-Conduct the research.
-Explain the research process; Introduction, Literature Review, Method, Data Analysis and Presentation, Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations, References & Appendices.
-Write a research report.
